Meza ("Meza," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile application and website that help users discover, create, join, and host social dining tables and related events. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use Meza. By using Meza, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information when you create an account, use the app, or interact with our services:

Account information: name, email address, phone number, username, profile photo, date of birth, age, biography, and description.

Profile and social information: Instagram handle, Telegram handle, and other profile details you choose to add.

Gender information: gender, which we use only to support Women's Only table functionality and community safety features.

Messages and content: messages sent within the app, table descriptions, comments, reports, and other content you submit.

Activity information: table history, join/host activity, app interactions, preferences, and usage data.

Location information: approximate location when you use the app so we can show nearby tables and venues on the map. We collect location only while you are actively using the app and do not track your location in the background.

Device and technical information: device ID, device model, operating system, IP address, app version, log data, and analytics identifiers.

Payment and subscription information: subscription status and transaction-related information handled through Apple and RevenueCat.

Customer support information: information you provide when you contact us for help or report an issue.

2. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information directly from you when you register, create a profile, post a table, join a table, message other users, or contact support. We collect information automatically when you use the app, including through logs, analytics, device information, and location services. We may also collect information from third-party providers you choose to use to sign in or interact with Meza, such as Apple or Google.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use your information to create and manage your account. To show nearby tables and venues on the map so you can find dining experiences close to you. To enable you to create, join, host, and manage tables. To support chat and communication between users. To send push notifications and service messages about your tables, joins, hosts, and account activity. To process subscriptions and payments. To improve the app, understand usage patterns, and fix bugs. To prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and unsafe behaviour. To enforce our community guidelines and moderation rules. To comply with legal obligations.

4. GENDER INFORMATION

We collect gender information only to support Women's Only table functionality and related safety features. Gender data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used for unrelated profiling. We use gender information only to determine whether a user may join a table that is restricted to women and non-binary users. All instances in this policy referring to not processing sensitive information refer to other categories such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, or health data — not gender, which we collect for the limited purpose described above.

5. LOCATION INFORMATION

We use your location to show nearby tables and venues and to improve map-based discovery. We only collect location while you are actively using the app. We do not track your precise location in the background or maintain continuous location history. You may disable location access in your device settings, but some features of the app may not function properly without it.

6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when necessary to operate Meza, provide core features, or comply with the law.

7. PAYMENTS

Payments, subscriptions, and billing are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Any payment information is processed directly by the relevant payment provider.

8. SOCIAL LOGIN

You may choose to sign in using Apple or Google. If you do, we may receive your name, email address, and profile information from those services. We use that information only to create and manage your Meza account.

9. MESSAGING, REPORTING, AND MODERATION

Meza includes in-app messaging, reporting, blocking, and moderation tools. If you send messages, create content, or report a user, we may review and store that information to operate the service, protect users, investigate violations, and enforce community rules. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate our rules or create safety risks. Reports may be submitted for reasons including inappropriate behaviour, misrepresentation, spam, or safety concerns.

10. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

We use Mixpanel to understand how users interact with the app, including screen views, feature usage, and navigation patterns. Analytics data is processed via Mixpanel's EU endpoint. We use this information to improve the app, fix bugs, and understand which features are most useful. No personally identifiable information is shared with Mixpanel beyond anonymised usage events.

11. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We may use cookies and similar technologies on our website and in related services to maintain security, remember preferences, and support basic functionality. Analytics tools used by Meza may also rely on similar technologies to measure app and website usage.

12. DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will deactivate it and remove or anonymise your personal information from our active systems within a reasonable period, unless we must retain some information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or record-keeping purposes.

13. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States and the European Union. By using Meza, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations. We take steps intended to support appropriate safeguards for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

15. CHILDREN AND MINORS

Meza is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information and deactivate the account. 16. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and request data portability.

17. ACCOUNT DELETION

After we verify your request, we will remove your account from active use and delete or anonymise associated personal information unless retention is required for legal, security, or fraud prevention reasons.

18. DO NOT TRACK

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because no common industry standard has been adopted.

19. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy in the app, on our website, or by sending you a direct notice where appropriate. The Last updated date at the top of this policy shows when it was last revised.
