Terms of Use
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully before using Meza. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Meza.
1. About Meza
Meza is a social dining platform operated by Michael Frederic Constantine Crowther ("we", "us", or "our"), an individual based in Australia. Meza connects solo travelers, digital nomads, and expats with dining experiences at partner venues around the world.
These Terms govern your use of the Meza mobile application, website at meza.framer.website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Meza. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your Account
To use Meza, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful information when registering
Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms.
4. Using Meza
Meza allows users to discover, join, and host dining tables at partner venues. When you join or host a table, you agree to:
Show up on time or notify other attendees if you cannot attend
Treat other users and venue staff with respect
Comply with all applicable venue rules and local laws
Not use the platform to harass, intimidate, or harm others
Not create fake accounts, fake tables, or misrepresent yourself
We reserve the right to remove any table or suspend any user who violates these conduct standards.
5. Meza Originals
Meza Originals are curated dining events hosted at partner venues. Access to Meza Originals may be subject to early access windows depending on your subscription tier. Meza Originals are subject to limited capacity and availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule any Meza Original at any time.
6. Venue Relationships
Meza partners with independently owned and operated venues. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of food, drinks, or services provided by partner venues. Your interactions with venues, including any disputes, are between you and the venue directly. Meza acts as an intermediary platform only.
Venue availability, opening hours, menus, and pricing are subject to change without notice. Always confirm details directly with the venue if in doubt.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Meza offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions (Meza Plus and Meza Pro) are billed monthly or annually and are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store in-app purchase systems.
Billing: Subscriptions are charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are provided.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Meza does not process refunds directly.
Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of a paid tier after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Free trials: Where offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
8. User Content
You may submit content through Meza including profile photos, table descriptions, ratings, and messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the Meza platform and in our marketing materials.
You are responsible for the content you post. You must not submit content that is:
Defamatory, obscene, offensive, or discriminatory
Misleading or fraudulent
In violation of any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
Illegal under Australian law or the laws of your jurisdiction
We may remove any User Content at our discretion without notice.
9. Women's Only Tables
Meza offers Women's Only table options, which are restricted to women and non-binary users. Users who are asked to leave or are declined from a Women's Only table are not entitled to a refund or compensation. This feature exists solely to provide a safe and comfortable dining environment for those who request it.
10. Ratings and Reviews
After attending a table, you may be asked to submit a rating. Ratings must be honest and based on your genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove ratings that we believe are fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms. Ratings contribute to user profiles and venue metrics within the platform.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
Use Meza for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the app
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform
Impersonate another user, venue, or member of the Meza team
Use Meza to solicit, advertise, or promote external services without our written consent
Attempt to manipulate ratings, XP, or any gamification elements
12. Intellectual Property
All content within Meza — including the app design, logo, brand name, Meza Originals branding, and all associated materials — is owned by us or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our intellectual property outside of your normal use of the Service.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Meza is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness of the Service for any particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that tables will be filled, or that venue partners will fulfil their commitments.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law and applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Meza, including but not limited to:
Loss of enjoyment, dining experiences, or social interactions
Conduct of other users or venue partners
Technical failures, app downtime, or data loss
Cancellations or no-shows by other attendees
